Mayor Adam West in Scooby Doo

I was watching Aloha Scooby Doo with my daughter today and Adam West was in it - again - he was playing a mayor! Does he do any other roles apart from town mayors!!!???

Adam West is the mayor of Quahog right? He is featured in the Family Guy I guess. Interesting, I mean I know of family guy spoofing other carton characters but a character from that show being in Scooby Doo was interesting. Was it a serious thing? Or was he made a spoof of?
