Mr Men cartoons from the 70's
I@m rackiong my brains trying to remember the name of the chap who voiced the mr men in 74. I want to say Ringo Starr but I think that was Thomas the tank engine.

You're right - Thomas the Tank Engine was voiced by Ringo Starr

The Mr Men in '74 was voiced by Arthur Lowe - of Dads Army fame

RE: Mr Men cartoons from the 70's
I didn't know that Ringo Starr did voice overs. Most cartoons have Dutch voice overs here so as a kid you don't get to hear a lot of the original voices. Which is a bummer because most of them are way cooler ;-) When you aren't old enough to read subtitles it can be a blessing, but when I was old enough I did prefer the original voices. It's very annoying when they only voice over spoken parts but not the songs.
