Question about family guy lyrics

In the Family Guy opening titles, what does stewie actually say? Is it "laugh and cry" or is it f-ing cry?? I'm having a debate about this with my brother and he says its f-ing cry.

Yeah I've had a similar thing in the past with the guys at work. We did a good bit of hunting and then there was a documentary about the making of, and in that Seth McFarlene says in the opening credits that it is "Laugh and Cry" (in the voice of Stewie - very surreal!)

I'd go for 'laugh and cry' as well, even though I didn't know about the documentary about the making of, somehow it makes more sense to me. I never actually gave it a thought because I always heard it as 'laugh and cry'. Will listen the next time I see the show to make up my mind ;-)

I wasn't sure myself because it is actually both. They've used "f-ing" on Fox and Cartoon Network(as well as "laugh and"), and on Adult Swim they just use "laugh and".

As much as I know, he says "Laugh and Cry". I mean it is harder to understand with his accent but it makes him all the more funnier and I cannot imagine him without it.

That was a great question!. I always say f-ing cry. Now i feel kind of manish. Anyways i love the show and when i hear the song i automatically start to sing. It is my little brothers ringtone on my phone.
