Retro computer games
I've just been playing donkey kong country returns and it reminded me of the original Donkey Kong on the NES. What was your favourite classic computer game...?

RE: Retro computer games
I recall playing Alex Kidd in Miracle World to death on the Sega Master System as it came pre loaded and the games were £30 so I didn't have many. You had to play scissors, paper, stone with the bosses at the end of levels it was great.

RE: Retro computer games
Alex Kidd in Miracle World was one of the greatest games of my childhood. I also had it pre-loaded on my Sega Master System. My siblings and I would play for hours, but the furthest we ever got was the volcano stage. I suppose it was a bit too advanced for us newbies at that point. We had an uncle who would finish the game in one sitting every time we visited.

Recently I downloaded Alex Kidd in Miracle World from the Wii Shop, and it was great to relive those memories. For the record, I can now get all the way up to the final stage (the castle), but it gets way too complicated at that point.

I'm a fan of the wii shop. I have downloaded a load of games that I used to play on the SNES from there. Super Mario World, Pilotwings, Street Fighter 2 - amazing!
